In what way does your game fit the theme?
Space Gnome is meant to be played together with others. Arcade style friendly competition. I hope it exemplifies how video games can bring people together and foster their growth as individuals, and community.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
All the code yes, all the assets no. But I made a lot of them. I was also lucky enough to have a student studying video game music composition specifically to do the music for me, so that's all original too.

Gnomes in space... Certainly an experience I was not expecting to find in this jam. Overall the game was pretty fun although I found it a little hard to figure out what I was doing at the start. The music was cool and I liked the look of the game. I think with some polish this can be a great  arcade style game. Good job :)

Thanks! Will have a much more polished version up after the jam's over!

I really liked the music and the font used. The assets all looked quite cool and the movement felt decent. however, it was not very clear what I had to do so I had to figure it out for the first few minutes. I think a how to play menu could really help. Cool idea though, well done!

Thanks! Yeah...definitely needs a control scheme picture, just haven't had time yet.  Thanks for the comment!

Don't worry about it, you still made a fun, working game!
