In what way does your game fit the theme?
It let's the player get stronger and stronger when he gets new friends who help him escape.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
I followed a few tutorials for the code, but I changed it to fit my needs. The music and art for the game are completely made from scratch.

Nice game with a cute and fun game idea! Good job. I’d love if you play and rate my game with almost the same name ;-) .

Nice graphics, music, and atmosphere. Lighting effects were really cool. I'd like to see what you can do with this game with more time.

I like the music in this game and the shadow effects really create a nice atmosphere. As other comments pointed out does the music stop or is missing in some of the levels but you already addressed that. I didn't like how, after I collected Sunny, the shadows totally disappeared making the level feel boring and gray. There are also some parts where you can't see walls and you don't really get that feeling of movement. A floor texture would have helped, but I see how that doesn't really fit into the games style so you should try to give the player some other point of reference at all time. Some sound effects would have been nice, but I added mine only last minute as well so I can't really blame you for that. Other than that I really liked the animation and explanations in between levels.

Thank you for your detailed feedback! You‘re totally right with the point of reference thing and yeah, I will add some sound effects to the updated version (sadly I don’t have much time at the moment)

For the boring look after you collected sunny, someone suggested increasing the light radius, but not fully increase it and I think  that’s how I‘m gonna do it.

Btw, I‘m surprised that most people like the music, I was really stressed when I made it and didn’t use much time for it xD

I really like the game! I think the first level I enjoyed the most, it was really beautifully done! it really made great ethmospere! Actually I would enjoy the most if all levels would be like the first one:)

Short comment. I think something is with music - maybe you for forgot to loop it? it just stoped before i reached the end of the level. There was also something strange in third and fourth levels - i was just in empty space and now sure was was happening. I didn't reach the end of fourth:((

Thanks for your feedback ^^

Yeah, I forgot to loop it and the game isn’t finished because the more finished version broke shortly before submission time, so I had to submit an older version. I will update it after the rating phase though

Okay it's not perfect, but it's really not too bad. I had fun trying the game, and the idea is interesting, but there is not happening much in the levels.

I was really feeling the vibe, then the music stopped and everything went silent. Second level did not load. There are two major faults that can cause this: -Level was not added to your build index, or your index number/string name did not match in your code to load the proper level. If you used a string name to identify the level and load it, probably a capital or spelling mistake.  Not to worry though, every one is here to learn!

edit: further below I read you have  a UI issue that is causing the problem. Check your canvas settings, make sure it scales with the screen size (set slider to 0.5 in order to scale based on width and height).

Developer

Thank you sooooo much! I finally fixed it now^^

Sadly I can only upload the updated version when the rating phase is over :(

Ey, no worries it happens. Part of the jam. I will make sure to play it once you can upload the fixed version.

Developer

Yeah, you're right. My only problem now is that I can't get the healthbar (which is added after the first level, so you couldn't see it) to scale correctly for other resolutions. Do you have any idea what I could do?
