Nice game! The platforming part is quite hard and like you already commented is intended. I was able to finish it after (i guess) 15 attempts.
I like the story and laughed at the moment I heard the "kick" sound 😂 that was a nice touch.

I love the art/audio and design of the game. The text boxes and dialog was very well done. As some others said, the platforming was hard so I feel like I didn't get to experience the full game. Great job over all!

I do agree with the people below, that platformer is hard... also I was making a dialogue system my own recently and that's a really sweet well-made dialogue system you have!
The pixel art is really cute, sound effect are on point! At the platformer stage, I kinda wish the losing animations become skippable after second attempts.
