Really nice game, I like your take on the theme with the other characters, good writing with them. Graphics are really nice too. Fun game, good work!

I definitely like the game! The art style is very nice and pleasing to look at. The pins falling down is satisfying to look at, and the characters have a nice charm with their personality that makes me like the game even more! I also am fond of the idea of befriending people to increase your bowling skills, makes engaging in conversation with the characters encouraged and even better to do. My only complaints would be that at the start, determining where the ball is thrown from goes really fast (though this is solved with the perfect timing ability so it's not much of an issue), and the red triangle character with one eye soft locks the game for me as his dialogue doesn't load. Otherwise it's a great game and if you work on it I'd look into playing it more as it's quite fun to play and entertaining!

Thank you soooo much. That means a great deal!

It's definitely my cup of tea!

Great comics artist Emmanuel Guibert once said: drawing is a game, because if we — artists —  won't play, then who will? I think it suits well to describe this game.

I, as a game creator, definitely learned something, while playing it. I want my next game to be like it!

I wonder, do you write anything outside games? Some zines maybe?

And yeah, this game once again shows how imperfect formal rating systems are.

Developer

Thank you so much, that means a great deal and I do not write anything else.

Thanks for your comments! Most of the writing was done by @blaconz.

So you're telling me, you made a monster bowling date simulator?? Great work! The lock is unfortunate but pixelated bowling sure is a fun experience :)

Developer

Yeah, the lock is not one of the finer points of the game but we are hoping to release a patch once the rating is over to fix it. But thanks a lot for rating this game!

It was really fun. I enjoyed the simple graphics. the controls were smooth and the puzzles were fun!

Thanks

I worked on this game too! Yes, it does have a soft lock on one monster that shows up. However, the order is randomized so it is possible to play for a while sometimes. Please rate!

Unfortunately kept soft locking for me when the Meat(?) looking character would show up. The text box wouldn't fill at all.
