I dont know what UBuntu is. Let me just explain how itch.io works. Itch.io is a website that has games and jams. Jams can be hosted by anyone. A jam is basically a friendly competition to make a game over a period of time. To submit a game to a jam, you first join the jam, and then press submit project, where you upload a zip file and fill in details. Hope this helps
I'll gladly team up with you but there are a few things to note:
1. I don't know Ubuntu (I use Unity) 2. I'm in the east coast of USA (dunno what your time zone is) 3. I'm (like my name suggests) a beginner, so I don't know how to make animations (or incorporate them) or do any complicated programming.
