In what way does your game fit the theme?
In Taking Care you hecticly move the little humans to avoid spreading the virus while keeping them mentally sane. You must work through the CHAOS and uncertainty to progress in each level.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
We mostly wrote all of the code ourselves, though a minority of the code was written before the jam and some of the code came from unity packages.
We made all of the assets from scratch.

I love the art and the animations. They fit the game. Also I like the fact that you implemented the period we are going through.  The UI and the music is great too. I'd like if you can make the UI of the npcs, the health and mental health bar be always visible. The characters were disappearing and I was very confused. Overall great game

UI animations are good, and the art is also very pleasant.
It is not very clear on how to play... I would start with only to characters and then slowly start adding others.

I feel the distance between Infection and Social is too small.

I agree with everything you pointed out. Those are things I meant to correct, but we made the levels on the last 3 hours of the jam. Next time we'll organize a lot better and start making levels on day 3. Thanks for your comment! :)

It was very challenging to balance everything. Fits the theme perfectly.

My first impression when starting up the game: Thats one huge cursor! And a very cute one too. The idea is very nice to balance isolation and health. I think it speaks from the heart of a lot of people nowadays. Its challenging to keep a graps on all the people. Great job!

I'm very glad you liked it :)) Yes, I personally been wanting to make a game about this pandemic for a long time, and the theme fitted perfectly so once we started designing and thinking of mechanics and gameplay it was a really cool thing to be able to take inspiration from real life, and thinking life as a game sorta. Instead of just making an escapism fictional world with no relation to our own. Sorry for the overanalyisis 😅 THANK YOU!
