I really like that pixelart style.

Thanx a lot! :)

The game and the animations looks pretty good, love the randomness of the spell, the music is a little loud but have good rhythm.

Nice game, nostalgia hit me hard. Periodical random spell change felt interesting. But I couldn't find out what is spell channeling for.

Developer

The channeling serves to increase the power of magic, but I only managed it for two: swords (blue) and fire (red). Thanx for the feedback. I'll play your game now. :)

Probably my fav game I've played so far, if it had controller support I'd probably sink many hours into this! Love the concept of the staff that just randomly generates spells! Would be awesome if you could rate our game if you have time? :D

This game is fantastic and insanely polished. The movement feels exactly the way I would want a pixelated game like this to feel and the spells are really creative and fun as well. It's especially cool that you can charge up most of them and get a different result than before. Just wondering, did you build any of these systems before and re-use for the jam? Not judging if you did, just curious because there's a lot of quality put into this game and the artwork and it's all amazing

Developer(+1)

Thanks for the feedback, I couldn't implement all the systems I'd like due to the short time, but I'll do it after the jam. Some systems I had already made in other games, but I redid and refined for this one.

Top quality! I loved it, it was amazing to see such a well fleshed out game, with a large variety of abilities, and an engaging world. Great work, I would love to hear what your thoughts are on my entry.

by the way i will be happy if you check our game and if you liked that save rate :)

Developer(+1)

I'm doing this right now, just by the images I found it very interesting.

Good luck ^_^

Amazing artwork, and a neat concept with all the spells switching. Though it's hard to tell if charging up the spell does any more damage, and enemies all have a lot of health so it takes a while to clear just 1 room

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I didn't have time to make a balance, but after the jam I will.

Fun game with a unique magic system and lovely graphics.

The spellcasting mechanics lead to interesting choices/solutions to the puzzle platforming problem at hand. Bringing up questions such as: Do I wait for the spell that I think is best for this situation, or do I use the one that I currently have to my disposal, all while weighing the risks that would include.

Developer

Thank you very much! I didn't have time to explore the mechanics in all the ways I would like, but after finishing the gamejam I intend to get these things right.
