Ranked from 6 ratings. Score is adjusted from raw score by the median number of ratings per game in the jam.

In what way does your game fit the theme?
Skeletons spawn out of a portal which appear every few minutes. If you get hit, instead of dying the timer decreases. This can make it super chaotic when a ton of portals spawn and a bunch of mobs appear at the same time.

Did you write all the code yourself and made all the assets from scratch?
Yes

Nice game !

It still needs some improvements. Graphics are fun but pixels scale is very important to keep a cohesion. In term of gameplay it's pretty good, but it lacks a thing like a healthbar, and it's weird that when we aren't moving the character turn itself to the right, we can't attack left.

Keep up the good work !

It's a neat idea, but definitely needs some work on the execution. Attacking enemies was a real pain, but i definitely enjoyed the minimalist style graphics!

This game has many issues. The graphics are self-explanatory, but the game itself, as a game, has many massive issues (Fireballs don't count as kills, dashes don't work, you can get out of boundaries, and much more). The biggest offender would be that you're literally invincible, and getting hit hardly changes anything, such that the game is barely a game.
I enjoyed the silly writing a lot! This made this game very worthwhile.
Keep on fighting! :)

Thank you so much for playing through the game. I am very glad you enjoyed the writing which I was hoping to be the most enjoyable part of it.  I definitely needed to polish the game up a lot more and change the combat system for it to be more fun, thanks for the advice and encouragement!

Nice job! I really love the graphics and animations (the attack animation is brilliant). I would definitely check out an updated version if you end up making one.

Thank you for the kind words, I will keep on improving

The game is great, Pixel art tho requires some polishing and pixel scale is also very important, you could try to make more ground assets to make it less repetetive, other then that great game
