This is SUPER juicy. The movement is complex, but even when struggling with it, it was super fun to learn it.

This is so neat! :o
A very gameplay-oriented game with several moving parts, and together they're nice!
The extra challenge of not hitting anyone real is really dope.
Seems like there's a likable narrative layer to it, to.
I should have checked the controls ahead of the game, tried to win the game without attacking or running lmao, but it was too frustrating that way.
Extra props for the squash n' stretch of the jump, and the cutscene at the end! Were never needed, but I loved 'em a lot!!

The music is easily the highlight of this, I love it a lot! It's super clean, and it sounds lovely.
The gameplay has a few bits that you already know about that can be improved, but I mostly think that the crux of the first 4 levels is too much similar - A bit of variety would've helped.
That said, I super love the mechanic at level 5! I never see people implement UI mouse scrollbars in gameplay, so it's neat :o

Ho-ly, I actually passed most of it. DANG, did it feel satisfying!
But you should be more generous to the players.
Without perfect input and a lot of trial and error, this game is brutal.
I think even too brutal, because it often felt like I have no control.
But still, this is neat :o
You should play around with jsfxr, it generates bleep bloopy sounds with no trouble. Look it up!

Haha, the jump SFX was originally named something like "hit01", so you are right on the money hahaha
Generated a quick sound with jsfxr, and called it a day, for the sake of progress.
Audio settings were planned, but the game was rushed and not developed enough truthfully.
And the lil' creatures? (The Captains!) The ones that are not on a wheelchair were meant to jump up and down as they spoke.
Other than that, I agree, it's super difficult to notice, and the dialogue doesn't make it clear enough.
I'll have this mentally noted for whatever's next :p
Thanks much for the compliments and feedback!! :D
I gotta say, the creature just staring at me made me scared. I was anticipating a jump scare, so imagine how glad I was when they all started rolling in like silly lil' things, parading bananas and funny faces.
I like the direction with the limitation a lot!!!
I admit that the game's too empty for me, but the end was kinda fun.
Pee underwear and baguette shoes FTW!!!

Ho-ly, this is fantastic!
The fun factor is OFF the charts!!!!! It's just such good fun when you get a grasp on what is going on, and what you should do.
I also super loved the presentation, simple, yet super pleasant! Even anxiety inducing (A good thing!).
Plentily difficult to play and control the character, but for those who want a challenge, this seems fantastic.
If I had any advice? Communicate better what each upgrade does. I had myself confused several times when landing on a ship, and choosing the upgrades I wanna buy.
This is great.

Pretty unique concept overall, a game all about valuing objects..!
I admit this was a bit hard to get into, and I did not do well at all, but this game feels very whole!
If I had a thing to suggest, it would be getting a more concrete goal, or making losing more notable/noticeable.
I was doing not very good for 6 days, but it went the same, and even though I was losing money, it was too goal-less, and it felt repetitive.
Still then, I especially loved the art direction! It just looks neato.

So many good things here!!!! This was fun as hell, except not the one in the game.
Fantastic writing, and a very playful, high quality story! It was super fun voice acting the characters for the fun of it.
Just- Fun!
It's a bit barebones other than the story, but I still enjoyed this loads.

Possibly the best game I've seen this jam so far!!!
The car was super fun to drive and drift, especially when I got the flow of it.
Maybe more sounds could have done well - Most other aspects slapped!
The biggest thing about this game is EASILY the look. That car. That clown car is STYLISH, and it kept me playing even when I thought I reached the goal of the game, $3000, until I reached the actual goal.
BIG MONEY achieved.

Glad I finally got around to play this one!
Fantastic job on the art, first and foremost!
Gameplay's a lil too basic I think, wished the 4 levels would differ a bit.
But if anything - I think the first magazine, with the 3 clothes for the beach, should have been communicated better. Even a few arrows with a "GET!" text. First try I was a bit confused haha
Farmer racoon was worth it.

Aye, fun stuff!
I played post update, and it's real neat. Art's coo', music's coo, gameplay's coo'.
The gameplay's too samey I think, some variety would help.
The variety added by the enemies and reload mechanic is nice, but it still gets stale.
Kudos for using Pico-8 for this, I commend you!!

When you said "Repaying a loan in today's economy is impossible", you weren't kidding!
I hoped to max out the fuel too, but rent is bloody impossible hahahahahaha
I reckon a bit of SFX would have added so much..! A "Bling!" for purchases, a lil' motor sound, a coo' sound for those blue mushroom diamond thingies, whichever honestly!
It was great fun, and the music's neat. Cool particles, too.

If there's one thing to commend, it's using Scratch. Never seen a Scratch submission to a game jam, and that's neat to see :o
Game's simple, and if there's something to improve upon, it's variety. Even adding a sniper weapon option, shooting long and slow, could do loads to this game.
The music's probably the highlight for me!

HOLY, this one is brutal!
Got to the door, got bloody giddy because I finished the game, and there it was: A second level.
Fun levels are high, but it can be a bit too unforgiving, and the 0 telegraphing and quickness of it all might be part of it.
Both the art and the music were pretty dang nice, extra kudos to the musician!

Neat!
A bit bare bones, but I do like the concept a lot.
I think you may have picked too many topics to write questions for - When it comes to dev, you should make it easier for you, until after you've finished the skeleton of the game.
But eh, it is trivia, so maybe I'm wrong about that this time.
