Can't wait to start coding although I'm not sure whether I should use unity or Scratch

I Recomemend Construct 3.

Whats that

That costs money whilst Unity and scratch are both free (calling scratch a game engine is pushing it)

Ok I guess it could work but would probably prefer scratch

use unity 100%

Unity

Can we team up

Might be a problem cuz I have to wait until December when I'm old enough for discord and I don't have to much experience in unity

we can use any other platform also. We can create a room in google chat also

I'm not sure my parents would let my use other social medias until I'm old enough although I could probably use PlayStation Network but thats a bit of a stretch

ok. but i think google chat is good option

On most social media, the age rating can be removed with parental consent. Also discord is not the only platform.

dude u follow discord rules my 10 year old friend is on discord

but where I'm from I have to be 13 and my parents won't let me get until I'm 13

Yeah use Unity

You said it yourself. You said you want to do coding. Scratch will not help you whatsoever. Sure it introduces you to the basic concepts but if you really want to make games and publish them (not just posting them on a closed environment like scratch) then 100% pick unity.

ok

If u want 2d, us scratch. 3d and more is unity's job

In my opinion, even with 2D. Unity is leagues ahead of scratch

lol i did a game with pygame, absolute hell, it took me a month to make something that could be done for unity in a week or less

I recommend unity  it is good so you can make more complex games with more features

dude use construct

We already said it's money

hey i'm also 12 years old! i'm not using any game engine (unity, godot, construct) instead I will use pure html, css and javascript (no frameworks or libraries) or c++ or python. can we team?
