Assuming you are talking about code, yes but be ready to write most of the code yourself anyway. ChatGPT writes terrible code (not maintainable, wrong syntax)

Unrelated but even though you think you know nothing of the topic, its still the same game engine and you can transfer the same code over from 3D to 2D(only changing a few lines)

Thats what I thought as well. I dont know why themes like "mythology" and "witchcraft" keep getting suggested when they arent historical events.

https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/rate/1680293 this is my game

Or did you mean UE5?

Wait EU5 is already in development?

For me the reason is completely different. I really want to switch to unreal engine 5 but I want to make grand strategy games and unity has a toolkit on the asset store that handles the map, pathfinding, units and a lot of other features.

Thanks for playing. For me, all of the furniture appears to be inside of the house so I dont know what is causing this problem for you.

I recommend not using the scratch sb3 format. Either convert it to html or publish it on the scratch website next time.

I really liked the atmosphere of the game. It kind of reminded me of the backrooms. One piece of feedback I could give is changing the texture of the walls.

I really liked the atmosphere and the artstyle. However, I think there needs to be more feedback to the player as I didn't understand what I was supposed to be doing with the hearts.

Sure. I’ll play it tomorrow morning since it’s night for me.

Thanks for the feedback and for playing the game.

This is mine Rate Dissonant Psyche by Code Ripple, Pyaa for Brackeys Game Jam 2022.2 - itch.io

My game is Dissonant Psyche by Code Ripple, Pyaa (itch.io). Its has a story and a unique combat mechanics.

This was a really creative interpretation of the theme. I liked the story. In my opinion, the chat box was a bit clunky but that wasn't a major problem. Well done!

As a person who is really interested in backrooms lore, it was great to see something like this in the jam.

Thanks for playing the game, and yes the flashlight rotation is a problem I couldn’t fix.

Unfortunately, you can’t really do anything about this.

My game is https://itch.io/jam/brackeys-8/rate/1680293. During development, the spritesheet was blurry despite being an extremely high resolution. Apparently, unity can’t handle large spritesheet if you don’t change some settings.

Yeah. What version of macos are you using ?

I really liked the graphics style

Does it say that you don’t have permission?

This is definetly not the biggest jam in the world.

Go into the dashboard and go to ‘admins’. There you can add the other person. Make sure to check contributer.

That reminds me how my first game was essentially an asset flip. Nothing was made by me, not even the code.

Presumably you should just be able to delete the game.

In my personal opinion, it is the worst tool for a game jam. However, if other people enjoy using it, then I see no problem for them to use it (unlike one person in a previous thread).

Just submit what you have. It doesnt have to be perfect.

Depends on your time zone actually. Its 11am UTC+1.  Thats 6am Eastern Time

The prize is a rank on the discord server

Its still not really a game engine either, but neither is pygame or raylib (which are written in C, pygame being a wrapper of SDL).

I guess scripting would have been a better word

A minor inconvenience that I had was that I created a new script and visual studio would open with everything but the script. This hasnt been a problem ever since I switched to Jetbrains Rider.

Your computer can definitely run 20 game jam games. Game jam games don’t usually have the best graphical quality.

That’s the Merriam-Webster dictionary definition, one of the most trusted English dictionaries. What would your definition for code be?

Exactly. Its funny that he calls scratch users children while acting like one himself.
