How does you game fit the theme?
The Main mechanic in the game is the Player not knowing whether a coin/enemy is real or not when they look at it...

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I borrowed the music, background image, and TileSet.
Scripts, sound effects, main character and other art assets were made by me during the Jam time.

I love the art style! I think the movement is a little too slow when you first move. Other than that the mechanics are cool and fun!

Developer

Thanks for playing! 2nd person to mention the slow acceleration so I’ll have to take a look. My next project is spending time perfecting a 2d player controller.

I really like the idea! I don't know the player player movement kinda being delayed was intentional but other than that I have not much to criticize, I like it. It was fun ^^

Developer

Yes it was, maybe a little too dramatic but there’s some acceleration for the player

Thanks for playing!

i like the idea and the way it was executed, but the pixelart sprites and painted background don't fit together at all and turning the player charakter felt weird because it was instant instead of sliding a little bit like you do when you stop or start moving

Developer

Thank you for playing and for the feedback! I’ll take art style consistency into consideration next time. I’m also working on a better 2D player controller that will take deceleration into account. Yours feels pretty good!
