Controller support added, thanks for the idea!

Appreciate the feedback. Yea I haven't tried creating a game with controller support, maybe that's next... I wasn't overly happy with my Player Controller either and am spending some time afterwards trying to make it better.
Curious when you say high camera, do you mean you can't see what's below you?
Really nice work on the game, Art and Audio set the mood! Impressive making all this in a week, and cool mechanics with the different abilities. Maybe some animations for them as well would be cool.
Look around speed is a bit too fast and the player needs some momentum when you let go of movement, but other than that its really well done. Nice!
Also liked the save and load!
One of the most polished games I've played yet, great job from all of you. It wasn't as easy as I thought it would be either, very clever idea.
Only suggestion is maybe make the audio clips shorter, or have some text as well for main points? I know it was a short period so probably tough to get a rewind/fast forward feature, it was just a lot to have to go through the audio more than once to pick up on something. But loved the volume control too and the art to go with it.
You guys obviously put a lot of care into this so great work!
That is a hard game... but great job on the mechanic execution. The art and animations are cool, try adding some Audio too to really capture the mood. Wish we had some way of seeing the skeletons field of view, but other than that it was fun. And your sister did a great job with the cover art, its what drew me in.
Would love to see an update in the future!
Great idea, and nice job executing it too. Fits the theme well. A couple additions like animations, and a restart/quit option would have been nice. And I did encounter a couple bugs (besides the moth). When going back to some rooms you entered from the start instead of the exit which you should be coming back through. This also messed up the map which became unusable. This is specifically after the first invisible death maze room. The player gets stuck on some walls too.
But other than that it was fun. Great puzzles and I like the art for the Moth! I'm sure with a little more dev time these things could be fleshed out, excited to see if it gets an update!
Really cool environment, music added to it when it kicked in too. Unfortunately I couldn't figure out where to go nor what I was supposed to do after the first flower. Maybe I missed something... *Edit at the bottom after playing again*
That's a unique concept and great fit for the jam theme. Nice job!
Edited: Such a beautiful game, art and animations are great. Saw the gate this time, I missed it the first time. My only suggestion would be to give the player some kind of queue that the gate opened when the flower is picked up. A noise or text that says you hear something in the distance... idk. Either way, great job!
Nice job submitting a game! I couldn't play in browser so I downloaded. Super weird game, I like the crazy ideas. Got a little frustrated dealing with the item/inventory system and trying to figure out how to grow rifles once I ran out of bullets. Also audio would have been nice.
But nice work completing it, maybe spend some time working out a few of the bugs? Could be a lot of fun!
Nice game, got a good laugh at the end with the reveal too lol. Thought it was an idle game at first but the comets and end goal made it more fun!
Try making some of the art and sounds next time, even if its just a couple assets.
I also really like what you did for the intro/outro with camera work, overall great job!
You guys created a great game! It was confusing at first to know when I could shift but figured it out a few levels in and enjoyed the experience :)
Only complaints would be that the controls tired out my fingers and that I wish there was more leeway when returning to normal from shifting. Died too many times with just a pixel or two clipped in the wall.
Overall felt very polished! Great music, art, animations and level design.
That was fun, very clever idea! And although the graphics and audio could use some work, bonus points for making everything from scratch. Game kept surprising me for how simple it looked, and I laughed a couple times too (Pickaxe on the head is great).
Finding the gold was a bit tedious and I gave up on the final boss, he was super tough.
But great job finishing the jam!
So I really like this game... It was an interesting take on the Theme, I think it could have been more incorporated but either way nice work. And as you probably know, the Graphics and Audio are lacking.
But the game is super fun. Love the combination of platformer and RPG. Punching the enemies and gaining abilities was enjoyable. And the clock at the end "rewinding time" was really cool. (With more dev time you should make an effect here).
Nice work, was hoping for another level lol
Very interesting, like the ominous music and the rolling player. Nice little touches too with the text in game and the ability to change color palettes. A few QOL changes like automatic restart after death and not having to go back to the game menu each restart would be nice. But good use of the items for the theme!
