How does you game fit the theme?
You are torn between a real and a unreal World, which you can use to outsmart your enemies.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
We used a pathfinding tool called Astar,
a tool called LeanTween
and a custom font called Thaleah_PixelFont.
The rest is selfmade.

Interesting and neat-looking game. I particularly like the shaders and changes to the music that get applied when you switch modes; I think they really sell the effect. It feels quite good to use the overdrive and I like how the second dungeon has mechanics that interact with it. However, the lack of any feedback (audio or visual) for reloading the gun doesn't feel very good and I think having some sort of cue for when you can or can't fire your gun is necessary for a game like this to feel good to play.

Developer(+1)

Yeah you are absolutely right. The feedback for reloading isn't great. I myself mostly just ignored it during playtesting wich is probably not great. Thanks for the feedback.

Awesome game, the mode switching mechanic was really cool and unique

I enjoyed the game. I love the feeling of exploring a dungeon. I often felt like I didn't know what was going on but that added to the intrigue a bit, always wondering what the different enemies might be.

Developer(+1)

Yeah that's the fun of roguelikes. We did maybe made it a bit too unclear at times but thanks for playing.

This game is quite challenging, took me a while to notice that using the second mode can actually drain your health. Awesome concept, enjoyed the game overall!

Developer

Yeah we didn't really teach that concept. How far did you get?

Nice presentation and lots to see. A target cursor would be nice for aiming purposes and a quit option would be good. Very fun to play!

Developer

You are absolutely right. Luckily alt f4 does the trick.
