The game setting is fun and the sounds are very funny as well. I played the tutorial but after completing it, the first level was not unlocked. Is this a bug? The mechanic is a good idea, it might also be fun to intentionally scare and kill some people haha. Congrats on the good entry for the game jam!
sorry to hear that, the old save and load system is broken i enver got that bug tough, maybe if re install game or something but sorry, im still working on it, i got a break and im gonna go back to updating it tommorow!
Also i wanted to put this out, i got hacked by a discord message saying it was a little game a guy was working on, as he was from a game dev server and he sent me it, i downloaded it wiouth being sus, so i got a virus and it sent the same msg to all my dms and servers, its called skyblade, its from gitxhub or something like that it looks like github but russian, after you get hacked it will share your passwords to the hacker and attack you, making you send the same thing to your friends, so the virus spread even more, warning so you don't get caught on it
It looks and sounds nice, the controls are comfortable, but the feeling that something is missing
i think its level design, and polish, and animations, better music

First of all, great game! I love the pixel art the the music is very retro, nice work! I think the level design was also really well done and the theme was there.
If you want some feedback, here's mine: It would be great if you can automatically respawn the player when he lose, rather than having to press R every time.
Other that that, a really great game, I had fun playing it. Congrats on making the game on your own in one week!

really cool game mechanic to scare the people and then help them survive to help you, the art was good to I am trying to learn pixel art too . the boss fight was good too, it was a cool challenge but there is a really easy way to beat him similar to in my game. I don't want to give out spoilers but this is about sharing ideas right ... to any one who is reading this stop now to void spoilers. If you stay outside the boss room and jump and shoot at your max height . you can kill the boss and then you just walk straight trough to the end you will have to do it about 40 times. I did this killed the boss but did not get an ending i just fell of the stage into the abyss not sure if that was the ending of if this messes up the game. Is there an ending screen?
i fixed this bug 1 day ago, but as i already realeased the game i couldn't update it, but thanks for saying that :)
im going to update the game in 9 days as it is when the jam ends, so there will probably be more levels and more bosses and more bug fixes, the ending of the game is bugged, thanks for pointing that out, it was suposed to be a room full of humans for you to scare and have fun

Unable to open file after download
it only works for windows, if you aren't on it im actually scared
I am on windows 10. I would really like to play it I will try another download . Just tried again and was unable to extract

I didnt manage to finish the whole game, but it was great so far, hopefully i didnt miss something huge on the later levels?
Anyways, I didnt really catch the 'theme' part, but other than that the gameplay and graphics were nice and I had fun playing it!
in the end there is a boss fight, thanks for saying about the theming, i think next time ill try to make it better :)
