How does you game fit the theme?
My game hits the theme in several ways. First of all, it is based on Egyptian mythology which isn't real. Also, my game is about trying to obtain a Sporfe (a spork with a knife), which doesn't exist. Finally, at the end of my game, the player discovers that there is no Sporfe and it is in fact just a myth.
Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
I wrote all the code; however, I only made the characters, silverware, enemy bullets, and silverware ui. I got the tile set from https://0x72.itch.io/dungeontileset-iifrom and edited the color. I got the hearts from https://swooshwhoosh.itch.io/heartsui.

For some reason it was super super laggy whenever enemies shot particles, but it was a very funny concept and nice looking game!
Cool game but I could not complete the last boss :( . Who knew the ancient Egyptians knew how to create unstoppable lag..lol. I liked the little characters.
Oh no! Someone discovered my true plans for the final boss! Anyways, I've got a version ready that doesn't lag as much for an update after the jam.
