Pretty good game!
I loved the graphics (Reminded me of Don't Starve) but there were lots of bugs. I read in other comments that you said you could not finish so I get it. Anyways good entry would be nice with some updates!
Hey
interesting game. I couldnt' kill some of the pig men, but I swear I killed one. The graphics are off the chain so great work. :)
Please can you play my game. I'm looking to gain more feedback on what to improve on.
Thank you
Your game is so gorgeous. How can you do all of this in a week? Its just amazing, great job. If you dont mind, check out my game to :)
Hi, thanks for playing. Actually, we worked on the game for about 3 full days (and not finished obviously) because the majority of us has to work full time. Do you have difficulties finishing your game in 7 days? What are they?
Yes, I had difficulties. But just because I am a beginner solo developer, who is working after school. :) It was just the Time Problem and as I said, the fact that I also had to do some stuff for school. Unfortunately we wrote 2 exams in the week and that was a huge time waster. :(
Yeah, schoolwork sucks... Anyways, if you are a beginner, I really suggest you to do non-physics game to learn fundermentals. For instance you can try to code Sokoban only with code logic and UI updates.
Why I say this is because many beginners are always watching tutorials and doing platformers in Unity. IMO, this is not good for practicing the actual code skill. You will need to study OOP and other coding stuff. They are fundermentals. When you are going to make games with larger scale (e.g. customized weapon, enemy variety), you need to deal with coding patterns.
Thanks for your tips. I will definitely try out going that way. I am really thankful for you and that you took the time. :)
Your game looks so awesome! Super spooky. I think the difficulty level was a bit high, but that could also just be me haha. Navigating in the dark was pretty difficult for me, and I kept getting stuck in dead ends.
I'm not sure what the easter egg is still... I'll need to keep searching :)
hey!! thank you! it's the legendary gun. idk if you've found that haha
Hey!
First of all, congrats for finishing the game. I have to say right away, the game looks amazing. I have no idea how you made the lighting system and those dynamic shadows, amazing stuff! I love the music, and the sound effects, everything really works together. I found some bugs here and there but I'm sure those will be solved when the game jam ends. Nonetheless, the game is awesome and it shows the amount of work you put into it.
Congrats!
It would be really awesome to have you playing my game too, if you don't mind of course. ^_^
thank you for playing ^ ^
the shadows actually quite easy if you're using Unity with URP. just need to add the shadow component to the objects. it's still in experimental tho
Mind night is a survival game,
where you shoot from the start.
Even though the gameplay was fun,
what I fell in love with was the art!
Kudos to the artist,
for making a game so pretty.
Never have I seen something so pleasing,
despite the aesthetic being so creepy.
Excited to see where you take this next,
it has potential, of that I am certain.
Maybe add a few more levels or enemy types,
before you close the curtain :D
wow bro! you are so good! love your poem
