A really interesting space physics simulation game.

pros: simplistic design, innovative concept, astrophysics are always a win, cute art.

cons: audio could be a bit better, other than that not much I would change but here are some minor nitpicks that didn't impact your rating but might be worth considering for future games; UI was a bit basic even by game jam standards but it's functional which is all that's really needed, the length is fine for a jam or proof-of-concept but it would have been cool if there was just one more action you could take. Even a minigame for landing on the planet. Lastly requiring Java 17 to play your game while fine from a rating standpoint will likely hurt your reach as most people won't take the time to install it just to try your game, if you have any other recourse I highly advise having as few steps as possible to play your game in any future jams.

Nitpicks aside, I love space, your orbital physics simulations are really fun and satisfying, and this has overall been one of my favorite entries so far. Also despite my criticism of software requirements, you earn massive respect points as a dev for using JDK instead of something like Unity or Godot, that takes some serious cohones my friend.

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback! I am happy to hear that you enjoyed it despite the game still missing many pieces.
We both  also totally agree, that we should have prepared a browser version.

Unfortunately didnt seem to be working on my pc so cant play + rate but the screenshots + description youve got on your page page make it look nice (using windows 10, both files didnt work)

Developer

Hmm, that's unfortunate. It worked for Excendia who uses Windows 10 as well.
Maybe you are missing Java 17 on your system?
