The game's very fun. I love the whole separating light into its primitive colors. The controls were a bit hard to use with it being very sensitive going up and down, compared to moving left and right. Other than that, the graphics and audio are really nice.

its awesome!!!
I completely agree with you. This was my first game jam and I still have many things to improve on. Also composing music is definitely not one of my strengths, thanks for the sincere feedback, much appreciated.
art looks amazing, i really like how you presented the goals/missions that you have to reach but they are very slow to complete, after a while i got bored and the sensitivity of the movement is very high, you should lower it and invert the y-axes since it is uncomfortable to play like that, music is very low, really like it, so chill.
Actually you can finish the game in less than 5 minutes, thanks for your feedback!
I loved this game! It was a bit confusing to catch the light rays at first, but once I realised I have to predict the ray's position along the path of the same colour, I was able to figure it out. Had fun with the game, although I'd have preferred the controls for the Y-Axis were reversed.
Also, when it comes to giving the player objectives, maybe you should separate the colours immediately after they leave the prism? I don't know it made more sense to me because one second I was supposed to be going towards Earth and the next I was chasing after rays of light.
Amazing game, though.
I'll keep in mind your suggestions and I will definitely add a Y-axis option when the jam ends (I'm not sure I'm allowed now).
Thanks for the feedback!
Perfect use of the theme and excelent ambient!
Thanks!
Looks really fantastic, reminds me of a windows screensaver (beziers?)! Recognized the reference from the name. Couldn't really grasp the gameplay well though (as it feels like you're hunting down the various scattered light sources?) but I managed to make it to earth in one piece? 5 minutes late.
Thank you! Could you elaborate a bit more why couldn't you grasp the gameplay? You need to recover all the other rays of light before you reach earth (as you have been separated), is it the fact that the premise is kind of stupid or you just found it boring?
Thanks for the feedback!
No the premise is quite cool especially when the rainbow appeared! But it might not very intuitive - seems like you're hunting down the light particles rather than the rays left behind? I was trying to get to the rays for a while and realized that didn't do much. Also it seemed kind of hard to hit the rays accurately so I thought I was doing something wrong, and realized I had to follow the particles moving about instead. Would be cool to see what colors I am missing too.
Oh ok, sorry for that. Yeah you have to follow the "head" of the light. As soon as you get close to it you absorb it automatically. Also there is a UI element that points you to the closest ray and tells you the distance. When the jam ends I'll improve some things, thank you!
Interesting take, but felt like there could be a better guide in taking me back to earth. I felt like i could have been lost for hours.
Isn't there a ui element that points you towards earth?
Thanks for the feedback!
If there was I didn't notice it until I was facing a certain direction. C:
One of the most relaxing games I've played in this jam!
No complains in any aspects, except that the upload has 3 versions of the game .zip is 65mb
Thank you! I'll fix that now.
Also, source code, please.
I guess I misunderstood the jam requirements. The rules listed on the jam page merely say "Source must be included" and it doesn't say anything about that source being only for the jam maintainer. So until a person goes to the submission form once the game is done, there is no indication that they are not expected to share their source code publicly. I'll ask CodeMyst if I misunderstood.
So CodeMyst said that the intention in the rules was the code should be made public, and that requirement was changed only after people "didn't want to". So, I say, as if that matters, most people should still be asked nicely if they wouldn't mind sharing their code. I think that makes this jam more relevant. Just my opinion.
That was a trip. I was 20.1 minutes late. Well done.
Thanks!
