I really liked the custom art,  thats always a super plus. The problem that I had was that I didnt have any direction I was stuck once I got a second airship.  There is this two nasty bugs 1. if you click directional movement while opening chest, you get softlock behind them and need to restart. 2.When talking to mamamia, the screen froze, that one was weird.

I wish I could have finish the game, I wanted to see the not what it seem theme.

Thank you for playing. I'm sorry about the bugs.

I'm sorry, but I didn't like this game.

It seems like you were going for a funny story, but the jokes just fell flat for me and I didn't care about any of the characters.

The gameplay is inconsistent and not well explained. I don't understand what the shadowy characters are doing. I frequently don't know where I am supposed to go or what to do. There isn't enough contrast between buildings' tiles, so I was frequently surprised when I ran into walls and had to look hard to see doorways.

Sound design choices were odd, like some places don't have music initially but do when I returned to them. Sound effects are much louder than the BGM.

It's great that you have fully custom art for the game and a side scrolling RPG is definitely unique, but I think this game needs some more work before its true potential is realized.

The story was not intended to be funny so I'm not to sure what to say about that.

The shadow things are enemy encounter spots. I don't like random encounters so I made the spots enemies can be encountered visible.

Thank you for playing.

Your custom graphics were awesome!! I had a hard time understanding what was going on or where to go next. It alluded to another ending as well, but all I found were dead ends.

Developer

I want to release an updated version, I'll try and make it more clear how to get the good ending.

Thank you for playing.

It's nice to see a  sidescroller in this jam. I was a little confused about the naming of less important characters, but I believe you will improve them. All in all a good addition  and a  nice game.
