So I signed up to this game jam expecting this to be in the daytime, but with commitments and all I dunno how I can back out of this, by all means I love making and creating games and I love this site and all but the cold reality is it's gonna be 3AM Toronto, Ontario time when this gets afoot for me, and well I'm going to bed at Midnight for 8 hours and I have appointments in the early morning hours of the day! Like if this wasn't in the night time lols I would be so stoked to Jam on in right away with all of you but the night thing and the morning appointments, I will be at best starting on in at approx 12-16 hours in and if I started that late I would feel so rushed and compelled to do such a super quick job that it would be messy and sloppy and little to know thought at all! I would need to not feel so rushed if I was to do this so like a "Dragon or Shark will say, I'm out!" Thanks though maybe next year I will gear my hours around for the night and not have appointments on the same day I would start! Even if I did not have the appointment, I was up at 6:30AM and to me it's now 8:20 PM so yeah long day I'm well beyond burned out by far so several reasons why I signed up but just realized now I won't be able to do this as intended :) thanks all <3

Additionally just realized I don't own buildbox software even, I must have gotten this mixed up somehow anyways with RPG-Maker dunno how, but I will look into buildbox I have a couple tabs open now and will experiment some point tomorrow on it, I think long time ago I might have gotten a trial or a demo of this software by chance, cuz there is some things registering in memory from years and years ago, but the fact this Jam sent to my email specifically must mean I at some point did try this software out as a maybe :)

Aight double checked my appointment tomorrow and yup I cannot default from that so yeas I will have to sleep 8 hours and go to that, however I will make a sticky/pin somewhere in my notes about this software and I will look this up :)

Hey Sarainia! Don't worry if you can't make this game jam! We are going to have one every month from now on!

It's fine I couldn't make that game jam! However how would I get my hands into buildbox again? I know long time I ago few years when it was just coming out I think I tried a free trial! However I'm still not yet financially blessed! The problem is it would be nice if this was like a  100 Game Creator or like RPG Maker Series or something in which we can buy that current version of the game making software and though no new updates at least I would own a version I can use and learn and make something and potentially be able to join Jams in which there could be an option like "Minecraft Bedrock Marketplace" content! How it would work is if in a Jam regardless the version of game for limited time only you connect all those softwares up like a Unity of sorts! And thus can develop the game as if everyone all owns the most current version that the highest version a jammer has! Then when jam is over they disperse and that feature will not unlock until the next game jam! Thus allowing people to partially commit regardless they like the software or not and at the end of the day they still own something they can return to on a rainy day and potentially have new winded drive again to get into it and commit to a newer version! Some companies go with buy once and forever owned concept! Others make new software versions! The only beef is trials get outdated and if a person like me are not in full financial means that can span years and then when we think about it again there seems to be no retrial to get us back in even though we forgot! I'm still way on the edge of wanting to commit to the software until I see a few things 1st! I want to 1st off make 1 or 2 test games that are functional on a few devices and only if that test was to work would I even think of making any commitment! As we speak I won't have money for the next 5 years due to being $30,000 in debt! But I wouldn't mind seeing a trial though easily 4 years later now I would say I want to see if a game is actually possible and to see if it can be made for both a PC and Phone! Once I get that confirmation with my own eyes! I will borrow off a friend or family just enough to get me a temporary membership! However I still think making Versions that last forever is better to go as I'm not gonna be making games to sell off the bat! That's actually gonna take years of practice and skill and a repertoire to build up 1st before I'm ever gonna be ready to publish anything on the market! If you have any ideas just let me know what I can do! Mind ya after I did originally do that trial several years ago I think I did pay for a limited membership but nothing came of that! Then again I have ventured into several dozen game making softwares so high chances are I just stopped at trial! :)
