Domination achieved! Ended with KKJJ, not sure if it helped.

This was fun. I like how it is a pretty consistent bar fight, and I love bar fights as a theme, with everything really fitting together, western music, bottle flying all over the places, (robot) cow-boys and guns. It's frantic, the shooting and speeds of characters and bullets feel good. Building poker hands for power-ups is unusual and cool, I really like it. The very beginning offered a bit of challenge (I died once, then I cheesed a lot, abusing the distances, angles, barries  and enemies being stuck behind barriers but I enjoy cheesing so it's not a bad thing.

That's a cool entry, thanks for sharing.

Sundown Syndicate is a charming cyber-western shmup with wonderful pixel art, stellar soundtrack, and classic bullet hell enemies and patterns to hoe down. I loved how the playing cards tied into the jam theme where the player is able to utilize them as both power-ups, and for attaining a good hand for the boss fight, so you couldn't simply just pick up every card that dropped.

I will admit, as soon as I discovered that rooms/stages didn't lock, I cheesed my way to victory by leading enemies back down to the second room and hiding by the door frame. XD I would definitely suggest to have it so that as players advance, rooms lock respectively for each level.

Overall, a very enjoyable entry. I absolutely adored the character designs and pixel animations were fantastic. And the theme songs were awesome!

I thought a lot of small touches for the cyberpunk western theme were really nice, birds being security cameras and neon saloon signs were fun. I really liked the honky tonk theme inside the first portion of the game felt really nice and fitting for the level. I also like the gameplay gimmick with the cards, having to be discerning with which ones you pick up instead of just going for every pick up that you see.
