Downloaded a bunch of these game jam uploads for the shigs. Out of all of them, a couple have mechanics that could translate into a great full-length game. This is one of them; dragging assets into the gun opens up a bunch of opportunities for puzzle solving and combat. Out of a week's worth of noodling, I would say that's worth it.
The game obviously lacks polish. The controls are a little wonky and not vey responsive. The mob assets are a little vanilla - even considering the theme - and the stages aren't optimized for platforming.
Overall, considering the time constraints and the fact that this person is working alone - i think? - it's a good effort. I hope they refine it and keep exploring the really good bits.

I agree the controls are wonky, but I know what to fix in the future. I had a lot of ideas for the gun mechanics, like physically shooting the player and launching you instead of just changing the sprite of the projectile, and maybe locked doors you had to shoot an unreachable a key into, etc, but I ran out of time since I was working alone and I couldn’t get the full week off of work :/. Next year I’ll be completely clearing my schedule haha.

I just found myself a way to get rich xD...It was really fun to play through..Controls are a bit hard..Overall a fun game.

You’re right, I think I made the big enemy too fast, and the level design doesn’t help because you can get cornered easily.

Interesting concept. I had fun solving the little DEBUG puzzles quickly. However, the controls for the platforming were very unenjoyable. Jumping is really finicky. I gave up on level 4, where I fell down a long distance back to the beginning.
Art fit the game pretty well. The theme was interesting, though it had quite little to do with the game being a liar, in my opinion.
Sounds fit the game as well.
An interesting entry, but with that character controller? No thanks.

I totally get what you mean and agree about the jumping and character controller, I think it has to do with my characters physics collider and where the “feet” are. Lesson learned for next time!
