I can tell you that if you started days ago its really not that you suck, its more to that you actually don't know or don't have the experience to make game or for game dev for short." (My brother speaking)There is no need to be in a team but if you so want to be in you can try getting in one right now I think there is still time, but there might be the problem that you aren't experienced enough so people would accept you but I'm not saying that's true, I think a lot of people would want somebody new because this game jam isn't about who is going to win but as blackthornprod said "just focus on having a ton of fun (...) with the goal of bringing the entire game dev community together". Just have fun even if you don't get to upload your game or if you upload it but it's not finished you would get a game prototype. It's not the point to win. And now if you really want to join a team but could not do it, ask your friends  or siblings :D it's even more fun."
