How does your concept engage in the jam's themes?
See "Thematic Relevance" under Concept Doc - it shows players a different side of climate change, drives them to change their own story, and portrays climate change as a set of interconnected issues and interests as opposed to a monolith for which no one (or a nebulous "corporate entity" audiences can escape/deny complicity with)

Use of Theme / Inspiration
I find the themes incredibly compelling as a concrete way to reassess how to approach climate storytelling and better impact the audience. I was deeply inspired by my experience growing up in Fairbanks, Alaska, as well as several road trips I took growing up and the contrast between urban Alaska and urban California.

I really like this idea! Super well thought out, and I can definitely see the vision. My one suggestion would be to consider audience knowledge that may/may not be there coming into the game (i.e., does the story make sense to someone who doesn't know anything about oil pipelines or Alaska?)

Impressive work in just one week! You seem to have a very clear direction and detailed documentation. I think I have mainly two suggestions, as a fellow writer here:

- Make sure you don't have too many characters for the story, especially considering the time constraints of the jam. You may want to categorize them as "must-haves" vs "nice-to-haves" in your next steps -- it will be a challenge, writing wise, to make each of their voices unique in a few weeks.

- Make sure the amount of endings/flexibility of actions each day is also appropriate. Depending on how you're structuring interactions and how time passes forward or not in the story, things can get out of control if you don't set a few hard rules first. (I've seen in more than once in my job and career :D)

Good luck!! This is a very promising idea, I love how specific you went with the setting, and the whole idea about making things more relatable by focusing on the people's stories.

Really love the keep the fire lit idea! Your character arts look very well-made and the production plan is highly detailed - it looks like a workable scope. Looking forward to seeing the game gets made!

Fantastic materials. I'm really excited to see this one. I think the idea of a small community setting gives players a sense for a scale of decision making where they can have a real impact (a la Stardew Valley community center), and it also feels unique in its snowbound location.

Your plans are so thorough and well outlined--I'm impressed, and wish you all the best keeping up the excellent pace of production that you've begun here in ideation! Thanks for sharing, and can't wait to see what comes of your work.
