Very cool game! Somewhat similar to the project I did in terms of setting and what not. I like the little cookbook with all the different drinks and ingredients, plus the art for each of them. And the character portraits are nice too. I wish there was a little bit more to the game play other than using the cryptic messages to figure out the right coffee to make. That being said, this game is a nice little brain teaser where you have to use context clues and what not to figure out what you need to make. Nice little game, keep working hard!
This is great!! I enjoyed the characteristics of the customers (even though I found myself misinterpreting their orders a lot, especially the kid) and it really fits the theme.
However, it seems to have no sounds or background music, it would have really added to the atmosphere but that's alright, and I also struggled going between the recipes when doing the order because it would snap to the first one, and there seems to be an off-set with going between the customer, the recipe book, and the station.
Overall, a good job! :)
Thank you so much!
We applied to the jam but we had other big projects so we had to rush it last minute, we had the music already but no time to implement it, as well as the base game ideas such as improvements on the game UX and UI, satisfaction system, ingredient rewards(you were not supposed to have everything already) and much more. We decided to still give it a try, though.
We are glad you could still enjoy our idea! :)
