Of course! For the mouse and keyboard controls, I would just recommend setting it up the same way the controller controls are, but plugging in mouse input values instead of controller stick values. Also, I found that I wasn't able to jump and dash while using keyboard, just a weird bug I suppose.

interesting, not sure if that's on me or maybe a godot build problem. Or perhaps just some slightly outdated hardware? Anyways, that's too bad. I appreciate you trying to give it a look anyways.

Hey I forgot to give your game a proper rating, even tho I played it a little while ago. Such a neat concept and the controls felt pretty tight (on controller, keyboard and mouse didnt work as well, just like you said). I liked the challenge of only getting a few seconds to be in the past to finish the levels, and it was a pretty smooth transition each time. I've really liked what you've done overall, and the tutorial messages as well were quite helpful. I will admit tho, i didnt get a chance to fully finish it, but I still enoyed my time with it.

I think it could be interesting if you had to do puzzles or maybe move blocks around in the past in order to be able to traverse the platforms in the future, like a cause and effect kinda thing. There's lots you could do with what you have.

Overall, nicely done. Keep up the great work.

did you download the pck file aswell?

Thank you for checking it out! I'm glad you enjoyed it. The feedback is also appreciated, and I hope to build off of the core concepts and see where I can take it from there.

Could you give me a hint as to how to progress after dropping your seed in the water? I found that changing the time on your watch will make the seed disappear, but after that I'm lost.

Short, but nonetheless entertaining and creative! The puzzles were challenging, and it was interesting figuring out how I can move around the platforms and essentially cheese the time traveling in order to get the stars. I also quite liked the idea of the plant growing after you planted it. You leave a lot of room to develop and expand upon these ideas, but the game you have made is still great in it's nice little package. Keep up the good work!

Very mysterious plot for this game and I wanted to figure it out. I got to the router to reset the connection and went back to the beginning. I like the idea of having to travel through this time corridor and dodge these time police in order to go back in time, but I feel that the patrolling could've been a bit more forgiving, or at least left more room to move around them. Also some of the doors led to outside the map and into the sky. I know you weren't able to finish the game fully so it's alright. Just keep up the good work! Good job just posting your game and getting it out there!

There doesn't appear to be a place to download or play the game on this page.

Very creative game idea! Kinda reminds me of other games that do the whole "two-worlds" thing. Although, there wasn't much challenge and I felt like the track and driving mechanics could've been more developed to provide more differences between the time-periods. I think this idea can be expanded upon in many ways, but you still made a nice little game. The cut scene for the instructions was also pretty enjoyable. Keep working hard!

can't play ;(

I like the idea you're going for. Definitely some heavy "papa's" games vibes coming from this. It's hard to tell if the customer ordering is meant to be confusing or not. It was definitely a challenge at times to remember all the things they wanted in order to try to get the highest scores from them. Also i was a bit confused on how the water and sizing worked. I think some more clear instructions would've been helpful, but other than that this is a neat little experience you brewed up. Keep working hard!

P.S. I like the art and the animations you included, definitely a nice polished touch.

Very cool game! Somewhat similar to the project I did in terms of setting and what not. I like the little cookbook with all the different drinks and ingredients, plus the art for each of them. And the character portraits are nice too. I wish there was a little bit more to the game play other than using the cryptic messages to figure out the right coffee to make. That being said, this game is a nice little brain teaser where you have to use context clues and what not to figure out what you need to make. Nice little game, keep working hard!

There were a few bugs I ran into, but it didn't seem to detract from your guys vision for this game. Although the mechanics for making the coffee are quite simple, I did enjoy adding up all the ingredients together to make the drinks. The art was of course very well made and definitely adds to the whole experience. Nice work, keep it up!

Thank you for playing it! It is definitely intended to be a challenging game and I'm glad the tutorial was able to help out. I realized that an in depth tutorial would be necessary for new players.

As far as the screen resolution, I'm not sure what you mean. Is the screen small when youre playing in the browser? Or is it text and or details that are too small? Whenever I boot up the game it automatically goes fullscreen. Do get back to me on that cause I'm curious if thats something i should fix for future games.

I love the setting and the idea that every thing is coffee related. Game play mechanic is very neat as well! Definitely a spin on the usual "click and drag the ingredient" methods. Very inventive game design.

Could you consider making the fishing area a bit smaller though? Or perhaps more populated? A lot of the time I was stuck searching for the fish/s I needed for the next drink, so I think have a smaller area to search or more fish in general could be beneficial. Also having more fish could add extra challenge and more punishment if you accidentally hook the wrong fish.

The hook mechanic is great tho, again very inventive. I think it would be interesting if you could hook multiple fish at once, perhaps all the fish you need for one order. In doing so, this could add extra challenge or less time to reel in the fish, but I think it could be a good risk/reward mechanic.

And I get it's a game jam game so you may not revisit it, but those are just my thoughts. Overall you guys did a great job and the game is very nice looking, very good presentation. Keep up the great work!

I got to say, I'm usually not a big fan of visual novels so this one was a stretch for me. But you guys definitely have some talent when it comes to art and writing characters and dialog. There's an abundant amount of charm in the exchanges in the game that I couldn't help but enjoy. The music in the game was also a nice touch that really added to the whole thing. Nicely done, keep up the good work!

I can see you definitely worked hard on this, so great job for submitting into the jam! I think the game could be strengthened if some more mechanics were added, or if there were more of a challenge to the player (kinda like world's hardest game). Anyways, keep working hard!

I like the art on the coffee monster, especially his run animation. The music was very epic as well, I felt very pumped to get the cup of joe for the little guy.

I want to note that it was a bit difficult to see the platforms and where I was supposed to go. Might just be my screen, but the lighting and platforms that blended in with the wall made it hard for me. Also this game is pretty tough, not that it's a bad thing. I couldn't make it to the end I was struggling. One other thing I would consider for this project is making restarting the level a bit smoother, it would help a lot with the flow.

But other than that you got some good skills on display, very cinematic with the cut-scenes and the camera zooms, I like it. Keep working hard!

So cool! I've never seen a gameboy engine game before, didn't realize that was a thing. I really like the outside music and how you can hear the waves crashing. Pretty cozy. Too bad you got sick, I'm sure you could've really taken your ideas further. I like it tho gameboy art style is always a win and looks very cool. Keep up the good work and I hope you're feeling better!

If there are any artists out there that are still looking for a group, I would be glad to have you! I'd like to think I'm decently skilled in programming but my art skills are still needing to be improved, so to have a pro on my team would be awesome. Just let me know if you're interested.

Hey there! I would love to have a composer join my team, and I'm currently in the midst of drafting my project and searching for other members. Pm on discord if you would like to chat further and see what we could do together!

Hey there! I would love having an extra hand in the jam, it would definitely save me some time since I am not so great with sound design. Pm me on discord if you would like to bounce some ideas off of each other and see if we could make this work!

@dillbin.

My laptop kept freezing up in the last hour and it really slowed me down. And as soon as I was submitting i got bogged down by the text window to explain your game fitting the theme and what not. If you could open it up I would greatly appreciate it!

I like this idea a lot, definitely adds a lot more depth into the game. I would've loved to do some timed mode or something like this but I simply ran out of time. I really appreciate this detailed write up, it's very helpful and it would be a very cool addition to the game! Thanks for playing!

Very nice art and smooth gameplay in this one. Classic game concept but a little bit hard. Nice work!

Who locked up the poor kitty? Nice game though, music was very existential and the red and blue platforms were tough. Keep it up!

Really fun and neat game! I loved it. The music and the art worked really well and you implemented them nicely! I like the simplicity of the game, definitely something I would play on my phone or switch. Please add more to this! There's so much you could do!

I like this concept, very intriguing. I like the challenge of having more complex web patterns that you have to weave. I think it could be interesting if you had to draw your webs purposefully in order to intercept the bird in its path. I also wish you didn't have to refill your webbing, but besides that this is very nice game. Good art too! Nice work keep it up!

Wow, a very nice polished game. Awesome work with this one. Very unique concept. I found it a little too easy in some cases, where I could just very quickly fling myself from the starting point in the center to get a roll and wipe out all the enemies pretty quickly. I liked the idea of your dice rolls getting taken away on each hit since it made me want to play careful, even though I would typically get my health back shortly after taking damage. I think this game could use some more challenge or added modifiers / obstacles to make it harder and more strategic maybe. Great work though, keep it up!

Cute game, I love the art style and the final cut scene was so badass. I wish that when you had the stacks of upgrades that they wouldn't all activate in sequence after you pressed the key they're assigned to. If you have 3 dashes and press the key you just get launched and it would be nice if they just acted as extra "charges" for dashes. Great work though, keep it up!

Cool concept, and it's nice to see a rhythm game as a jam entry. Although, I had a hard time figuring out what to do according to what I saw on the screen. I would've appreciated a more in depth tutorial explaining when I need to attack and or defend. Keep working hard!

The game looks great! Definitely a revamped version of the og. But I love og asteroids, I even own one of the table top machines of it. This definitely gave me the right vibes, although just sped up and a bit crazy. I had some issues with the game freezing whenever I shot an asteroid open and it spawned in all the power ups, and it made it a little hard to play. Other than that you made a nice polished game.

Very awesome I really enjoyed. Really had to think in this one. One of the many great puzzles games in this jam, nicely done. Keep up the great work!

The game looks great with the pack you used, really used it to full potential with the starting screen and ui! But man was this game hard. I would love to see some variation in the enemies that chase you and maybe different weapons to choose from. Anyways, nice job using that game engine to make this though, I know it couldn't have been easy. Keep working hard!

This one was tricky for me. I like puzzle games but this one made me think, and a lot of it was trial and error for me. I think you could definitely expand on this game outside of this jam, but would be preferred maybe if you game more controls for moving. This game really makes you think about the space around you and some of the puzzles were quite clever. Keep up the good work!

Very awesome game. After a while I started thinking the game was calling me trash, which is probably accurate. All the noises and the simple art style give off a nice vibe and feel for the whole game. Levels aren't necessarily hard to figure out, but the difficulty comes from maneuvering (which works for this kind of game!). Awesome work here, keep it up!

I think I got like 3000 something

Simple game but still nice work! Used the art assets well and the whole game has a cool theme. I like how accurate the collisions are with all of the obstacles, it just feels right. Keep working hard@
