  • The concept of this game is pretty unique and I the design space isn't one that is too explored so props on that! There is also a high level of polish that is quite impressive. Most of the comments on your game's page talk about the tutorial length so I won't touch on that too much. One issue I had was when my ship hit something and the game over screen appeared, it was hard to tell what I hit, some indicator of that would have been nice, but that's a very small issue. I also think waypoints shouldn't be infinite/should cost a resource. I really like the shop/upgrade feature to give a sense of progression, well done! --- This game had a super interesting concept and felt very complete -- I think the amount of things to do gameplay-wise (purchase upgrades, move the ship, destroy things) made this feel very polished. Presentation was also super cohesive, love the art style you chose. Like other commenters, I thought this game took quite a while to actually get started, but out of every game this also probably had the clearest tutorial. Perhaps it could be shortened a bit? --- 36/40

Definitely agree with some of the other comments. I think it takes a little too long to start up- I initially thought that the tutorial was just the main game before getting past it! I would also like to suggest things like coins being an automatic pick up if you walk over it, since it feels a little strange to have to hit E just once compared to the other objects.

I like the concept though! I think the upgrades are a nice touch that gives the game that fun bit of progression that makes you want to keep playing! The sprite animations look quite nice as well.

This struck a pretty good balance of navigation and collection gameplay. Plotting the ships course while running around with the character felt well-balanced.

My only complaint, and it's minor, would be the control scheme.
The game requires the character to move around almost constantly while performing different actions. The problem for me is that all of the action keys are clumped in the same area, meaning the characters can't move in any direction and also interact with the environment.
To fix this, maybe just map those actions to buttons in a different area of the keyboard.

Nevertheless, your team did a great job here. Nice work!

Really nice mix between management and action, the spaceship could really use to move a lot faster at the start of the game, it takes a bit too long to get the game going but once it does it's really fun. Great work! Keep it up!

I really like the idea. I think the tutorial was a little long as well. I felt that the game had really cool mechanics and the upgrades were a really cool addition to the game as well.

The concept is really neat and has a nice and simple loop which makes it nicely suited for a webgame! The little upgrade system is really neat and the levels have a nice challenge to them too! :D

Really fun concept, however I feel like the tutorial goes on a little long, and the difficulty spike after is a little large. I really liked all the art, and once you get past the tutorial it is alot of fun.
