I'm usually not into story-based jam-games, but this has got some excellent writing.

Great Game!

Entertaining  monologue and game visuals were put together well.  I really like the mood change, that made it pretty funny, I laughed out loud.  Some of the sound effects at during the intro story were a little harsh on the ears...but we also need to imagine how to translate the 'fearing-for-their-life' moments of the slime.  The title screen art style was beautiful...but also didn't set the right expectation for the game that followed.  I have no problem with the pixel tile mapped art, the title screen could maybe have matched that instead.

Overall, nice jam submission.  I enjoyed it.

Thank you for playing. I'll work harder on sound mixing. Volume control was a bit difficult as I couldn't hear a difference with headphones, but I'll be more careful about that. I agree with the title screen being not at all fitting. I was nervous about creating a poorly made screen, so I settled on a default one. I'll try to work more on my digital art skills in order to be able to make title screens that both look good and fit the game. Thank you so much for the feedback, I really appreciate it!

For such a small game it was a lotta fun! Art, music, simple and relaxing gameplay - all cozy throughout the whole playthrough. But first and foremost, it was funny! Slime monologues were written perfectly - I think, there's a good potential for some very cool writing in the next projects. Thank you for the game <3

Thank you so much for playing! I never done art on this scale (or art really), so to hear it was good for the atmosphere is wonderful. Slimes are funky little creatures, so they deserve some funky little dialogue. I hope to improve on my writing for any future games
