An interesting concept, with cozy music. The 3D part somehow gave me dwarffortress feelings, that's probably just me imagining one of the dwarfs making quilts for his community xD

Such a sweet, I love how you implemented patchworking in tetris like game. Howling wind on the background clearly make up the mood.

Nicely done!

Veryvery nice game! Very entretaining to make the quilts. A little bit of performance problems but nothing too wild. Good game!

Made a happy mistake, was still very pleased with the out put in the end. I love how relaxing the game felt, I didn't have a sense of urgency nor did I feel like if I missed anything I was going to "lose". I did chicken out and did the first pattern because I didn't know where the gameplay was going to go.

Very causal and cozy quilting adventure. I love that you get to see your finished work at the end! All in all, a very cool and well executed concept.

This is great! loved the designs of the quilts. I tried the Four Corners design and managed to get it to look exactly the same as the original design. Overall its a well made and a very laid back game. Good job!

Really cool idea, I love that you can make the patterns and the little toy like people in the corner you get to play as. I did also learn that I am not meant for the life of a seamstress. Regardless this is a wonderful concept! Great work! Keep it up!

Great game! I like the story to it and the Tetris-like gameplay. Also I'm glad it said that it's okay to mess up and not follow the pattern cause I wanted to restart the game after I misplaced a tile.

I made a quilting game for a previous game jam, so I knew I immediately had to play your game when I saw it. This game is so good! The tetris like mechanic is a great idea. The squares have such cute patterns, and I love that there are different patterns to chose from. The 3d model of the blanket being put on top was so cute also. You did a great job choosing all your assets and designing a game that was fun to play.

After the jam is over I want you to flesh out a full little story, fix the next-tile weight, and add a few more levels. I will absolutely come back and play a more fleshed out version again, just let me know.

Whoa!  It's amazing that you've made a quilting game!  After submitting this I was pretty worried everyone seeing a 'quilting' game would have no interest to even try.

I agree that this could be an intro to a much more complete game.

Thank you for playing and thank you for your supportive comments.

Love this game! This is the most unique game I have played so far. The way you included mistakes in the finished quilt and framed them as a good thing was so cool. I liked how there was a pattern to the individual quilt squares. I also saw your discussion post about how you added the draping effect at the end and it turned out great looking!

My suggestions to bring this game to the next level would be to not always include the house in the upper right corner. Adding the house makes the quilt creation part smaller and more difficult to use with a small screen and poor eyesight. I wouldn't completely get rid of the house because then you can't include the cute part at the end with the quilt draping. I would add a start and end scene where you can pick the quilt you would like to make and drape the quilt instead of having the house visible all the time. The quilt pattern also moves while you are sewing, which was a little jarring.

Again, this game is very unique to me. You were smart to come up with this Tetris quilt idea and nailed the coziness. I can't wait to see what you make in the future!

This is great feedback.  I have a lot to learn about considering and developing for a variety of hardware people might be playing on (screen size, gfx card, etc).  Part of the reason the room was kept on screen was to support the 'One Room Only' optional theme for the Game Jam.  It's a great idea to have more specific focus for the intro and end scenes; both of these could have be full-screen.  The final scene could have worked nicely if treated like a cutscene.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments.

I really liked the game very much. The only thing I would add is animations to the person on the top right but all in all Well Done!

I agree.  I planned to have the character animated but ran out of time and it didn't impact the gameplay loop.  Would have been great to have the character facing the appropriate direction while walking and turning the face the bench.  Even better would have been to have some small animations while working at the quilt, talking/thinking, and also an animation for the woman shivering while laying in bed.

Thank you for playing and for the feedback.
