Hey congrats on making a gamejam game! You say you're still learning the basics, but honestly I'm very impressed! The mechanics (programming) was solid, and I really, really liked the environmental art. The way these trees smoothly rocked back and forth was just great! Please keep making pixel art :) The character looked a bit silly, doing jumping jacks all the way through the level, but I know animating characters is very hard. Also, the atmosphere was positively creepy! I was expecting a monster to jump out at me any minute, but I'm actually very glad that didn't happen (I don't like horror games, haha). Good job on the game, and thanks so much for participating. Glad you enjoyed!

Very atmospheric. The wind and the swinging trees complement each other nicely. I like the dark outline of a person near the fire - very mysterious. The promise of a mystery thriller. I've found the key, but I've missed it the first time. The interaction is quite hard to catch. Great entry and congratulations on starting your coding adventure. Great job!

Love the art, great feel to the mechanics! Especially for a first entry for developing a game. I can see it being a lot more engaging/interesting with a little more time spent on the story and length of gameplay. Really good game considering the short time slot! Well done!

Super spooky atmosphere, very short game but shows promise. Really want this to be expanded in the future

I was a bit confused at the figure and references in the graveyard but overall real good and addictive spooky vibes, I selfishly want to see this being expanded into a bigger game!!
