This is sweet, I love the retro aesthetic. It took a bit to figure out the mechanics, but that’s kind of expected for games like these, and you did a good job of keeping things simple enough to pick up through trial and error. The parry move felt really good, though I never totally perfected the timing. If I’m understanding right, you’re getting “firewood” for an “ice fire” that cools you down from heat and burn damage? It’s a cool concept. I couldn’t tell what the firewood icon was supposed to represent though.

Overall this is a really nice game. My biggest feedback is that some of the times I died were from fireballs from behind me from off screen, sometimes when they were coming from two directions at once, which I don’t think there’s a way to prevent.
