all the arts in the game are rather pretty, though there's a bit of art clash in my mind, mostly in the pixel scaling, the apples pixels are larger than the squirls and so are the porcupines, the underground section looks, blurry? maybe?

The chase sequence for the bird and porcupine are both rather exciting and different from each other, I do however feel that losing all progress when your eaten feels pretty bad even if it kinda makes sense.

the art is so cute and the challanges are well designed, i like it a lot.

How the heck can that hedgehog jump that high??? His leg not even visible?????

Amazing art ! The squirrel jump animation is AMAZING. The overall art is lovely.
The height of fall is kind of punishing and frustrating, doesnt feel very cosy for me ^^
But beside that, awesome job ! Congrats !

I loved the art, especially the character art and animations which worked really well. It had that feel of a classic platformer. On that point, the platforming itself felt very balanced, which is a pleasant surprise for such a short jam like this. The character just goes exactly where you want it to, really good work on that. I also really liked the gameplay loop where you explore a place, then traverse it backwards while being chased. I didn’t love that you die when falling out of the tree, but I see how it would have been difficult to make this work without that (it would be pretty easy to avoid the bird if you just jumped off the tree lol). Great job on this overall!

Thank you for the feedback!

We are very glad that you liked the graphics and mechanics.

We had an idea to make it so that the egg specifically breaks, not the squirrel, but implementing this idea would have required more time.

Oh, that’s a fantastic idea though, that would have been a really elegant way to solve the problem.

A fever dream. Really fun gameplay, love how you give the bear the acorn because squirrels eat acorns so its a really powerful message about the importance of sharing. The art is also on point. The music is also really tasteful. - Skyquee

It didn't load for me, I was so excited to try what Skyquee deemed as 5/5/5. - Jiri

Nice and well done.

The squirrel's animation its lagging a bit while moving and the platforms could use some nice artwork to match the tree a bit better :D

Thank you for the feedback!

Yes, we ran out of time a bit to polish the visual parts of the game. We planned to make different types of platforms and style them to match the tree, but unfortunately, we didn't have enough time.
