Can you make a Day 1 game with out much experience in game dev?I really want to make a game i have some progress with unity and have been following tutorials and such but don't know if this is a vitrain dev thing or something.

Yes, that is absolutely possible! You can also get free assets from the asset store if you want, because those weren't created for this challenge!
