My team and I just wrapped up the Global Game Jam and wanted to share our game, BubbleThink!

In BubbleThink, you play as a social media admin tasked with cleaning up toxic comments. Drag and drop tags to ban offenses, but be quick—your boss has a short fuse, and if you’re too slow, you’re fired. It’s a fast-paced, chaotic dive into the wild world of online moderation.

We’re a team of 7, and we’re super proud of what we built in just 48 hours. Check out the teaser and let us know what you think!

So if I use these Assets in a project that involves multiple people. Am I allowed to share them with my team members?

I don’t think I am being too competitive. Of course I really had fun working on all of this. It is just disappointing putting multiple days into multiple projects, pulling all-nighters because you just want to make it right just to be some branch on a tree, which doesn’t matter and could’ve been cut right off. It is frustrating and I think the main reason why so many people jump off the Jam the next day. The next Day of the Jam shouldn’t go to the next iteration directly but do Day 1 again with the ones that didn’t get picked the previous day until nothing is left. Then repeat for each evolution step.

But what use have multiple versions of the same project if in the end only 1 survives and the rest is basically pointless

I don’t think so. I think it should be the goal to get every game through and I mean EVERY game.

I mean good for the dev but that most certainly is too much considering only one is making it through

Yes it is extremely unsatisfying, working so hard, but because nothing of my creation made it through day 6 I am feeling like it didn’t matter that I participated. I won’t even get reviewed. I really love this Jam but the rules are really mean to I think almost everyone but a handful of guys with 4 Exact same games worked on during the same day. Man this is a lot like society don’t you guys think?

That’s awesome, but just reminds you how much there was left. It’s a shame everyone worked on the same project instead keeping others alive

Welp that was it for Army Smasher. I really hoped it would somehow get trough all days. But still thank you to all the developer who worked on this (At least in my opinion) really fun game. See y’all next time

It do be like that sometimes…

If the broken stuff stresses you too much you should leave it alone. Make something different. Idk what you are working on but like nice stuff. Healthbars, Particles, Sound, New Art, Expanding content that is already there and works. You don’t have to understand everything in the project, most of the time I don’t understand my own projects. Just don’t let this demotivate you, aren’t you here to have fun. So go and do something fun.
