Love the cute art! Got the the theme right away :)
Played it by myself and even tried to played against myself lol, very hard doing that. Overall great game!
This is really fun but a little easy.
My opponent and I would press our keys at pretty much the same time so it was a stalemate most of the time.
I think a little variation and speed increase would add some challenge.
Also, the next letter should appear early if the player presses the key early.
I often found myself waiting for the next letter.
But overall, the game is very clean and has brilliant art!
It also looks a lot more relaxing than it actually is :D
I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for your feedback.
You're right the challenge is not that difficult. After the game jam, I try to add some speed increases and other challenges.
Really fun game. I love these typing games and I think you put a good twist on it, incorporating the theme in an interesting way.
One issue I had, was that I have a german Keyboard, so "Y" and "Z" are swapped. That means that some letters player 2 must press, are the keyboard side of player 1 and the other way around. I don't really know how to fix that and it probably doesn't matter for the majority of players, but it would be nice.
But regardless, this is a great idea that got executed really well. Good job!
I'm happy you enjoyed the game and thank you for your feedback.
I have also a german keyboard so I already know the issue, but I thought the majority of people who participated in the game jam own a QWERTY keyboard so I decided to go with it.
Maybe after the game jam I add a setting where you can change your keyboard layout.
Nice multiplayer minigame, definitely a rarity in game jams. I like the simplistic art style too.
One thing though is that you can spam the buttons, so maybe hitting a wrong button should take you in the opposite direction.
I'm glad you enjoyed the game and thank you for your feedback and your idea of what I can do about key spam.
