Nice game. The art for the player is pretty cool. I will suggest a visual effect when the enemy gets hit or the enemy's health bar.

Fun game! I was able to escape! One thing is that I wish I could shoot without moving and perhaps the enemies lives could be a bit shorter. Nice submission!

Good job on finishing! That's a great achievement all in itself :) I got to beat the game and realized that you can run past all the monsters ahah
A few tips on movement and shooting:
movement: instead of an if/else statement for the 4 directions. Do four if statements and store the value. This way, you can make it 8 directions instead of 4.
shooting: you can store the value of the directions your facing and shoot even if you're not pressing any movement keys.
