I suck at asteroids :-P. I managed to get to level 5 but i was out of lives by that point and lost almost as soon as that huge blob exploded to lots of tiny blobs (because i had a stream of bullets towards it so i got a few splits almost immediatelly).

I like the handwriting graphics, though as others mentioned it'd be nice if it had a tiny bit of sound. Also i liked the antialiased lines used for the ship and lives. And, i'm sure it wasn't intentional, but the amber scheme reminded me of my first PC's CRT :-P.

I noticed that there is also mouse input, but i couldn't figure out how to control with the mouse (it seemed to rotate arbitrarily) so i only used the keyboard.

What a really smooth game.  It's so simple but full-featured at the same time.  I wish there was sound though - it would make the already satisfying feeling of blowing up those blobs even more satisfying.  Great job!

The fluidity is fantastic, even with lots of blobs on the screen. And the ship rotation looks and feel really good.

Really cool concept, and great very well optimized implementation. I keep getting killed by blobs, but it’s still fun. Love the writer transition.
