I dunno if anyone else called this out but I love the way the sprites dont use transparency but are limited to the color palette on purpose, it's a super cool and faithful retro look.

I too am now stuck on level 3, do tell when you do the bugfix so we get that door to open =P
Unlike Pinkacid I love the black boxes around the characters, really helps give it that Spectrum look.

Each key opens a part of the map. in the 3rd level, the right side opens. The sound of a mistake is a treasure pickup.Ahh ... I'm sorry. found an error. There is a block of walls instead of a door. Replace the file in the game folder.

Liked it so far, cool overall style, and the sound design together with the weird and distorted enemies make it pretty eerie.

The idea of the locked doors making an error sound is really cool! How has this been achieved?

Things I didn't like that much: There are black blocks all around the sprites, was this on purpose (to catch a certain style of the ZX Spectrum maybe?) or are those JPG artifacts or something? Also doing basically the same level over and over again is a little bit boring, and I didn't find the key in level 3 so far...
