Theme (Ennemy)

Green Tail

Correlation to theme
Green Tail looks like the kind of enemy that later becomes a companion. He has a bit of a lone ranger vibe, so I wanted to give it a little western flavor with the drums.

This sounds like you may have used some of the same sounds that come on Beepbox which have a cool and unique acoustic character to them. I love the sliding notes in your melody. I get a somewhat exotic and fossilized feel with this song like you are battling Green Tail in a forest ruins or something. Thank you for sharing!

Haha, I love it! From the first note you had me laughing - the instrument choice, the glissando's, the sections (0:26 to 0:32 for example)... they make it sound like you're fighting a gone-rogue clown or something. Or... a friendly foe ;)

I think the composition sounds great, the feel is funny and kinda fitting, so well done! :D

The scoops and melody are great! I don't mind the repetition in this one, but I do think a solo part way through over the top, maybe instead of the melody if that's too jarring, would sound awesome.

I agree with TheSnowly : it’s well composed, the instruments blend together.

For me, what caught my attention is not the repetition but the fact that your whole piece stays on the same chord (Ebm7). You could have done a modulation by keeping the same arrangement (for example by going up a minor third) that would have changed enormously the impression of redundancy.

I remain on a good impression and your music works for an encounter with Green Tail.

I was hooked by the melody at first, which is really well composed. However, I feel it's used too many times with too few changement, a part B with an other melody/chords could have been neat! I feel the pitch shift thing is used too many times too.

Also, it was lacking from a fight theme energy. I think it's mainly because of the drums which felt a tad too weak. But overall it was fun to listen and was in character for Green Tail!
