Honesty I'd love to hear your story on making this game? When the theme was announced did personal experience just leap to mind or have you been wanting to convey this before and this gave a good outlet? Why RPG maker? something you've had and experimented with before or is there another reason? What difficulties, if any, came up while trying to convey your subject matter?

Well i actually ended up helping with another game with my siblings that was completely different (Don't let your goblins sink in the sink) and I knew i wanted to make a game about having one of my chronic illness', I'd been wanting to do something to help bring awareness for a long time and this seemed like a simple way to do that. I chose rpg maker because i adore the platform! I'd never made a game before and it seemed like an engine i could figure out! And there were lots of difficulties with conveying what its like, i still am not 100% happy with it and i dont think i ever will be but i just want to do my part to help others understand and maybe be a little bit more compassionate to others. I'll probably try again to make a game which is more in depth and longer but it wont be for a game jam, i will want to take time and perfect it before showing it to the public! But i'll hopefully make a few more short games like this to help me understand rpg maker a bit better!

rpg maker is solid for starting out. The database is easy to update, and you can get a lot out of it by just using event logic rather than full on coding. My suggestion for learning is look through the event action options whenever you open an event. It's easy to forget the options since there are so many and i'll usually get an idea for something to add whenever i look through it.

Also, that was very nice of you to help your sibling. I don't think i got to play that game yet.

This game is great, but only after the initial wall of scrolling text is over. If you do any updates after the ranking period is done, I would recommend putting that information somewhere in-game as reading material, such as on a table as an "old informational pamphlet". Having it all scroll by at once like that is very intimidating, and especially having it scroll on its own with no player input encourages the player to not actually read any of it.

Similarly, I think having the website be displayed as a line of narration at the end would be more convenient. Not having the text move would make it easier for the player to type it into their browser and/or write it down. Putting the link on the game page would also be a good idea.

Those are both awesome points! thanks for the idea!
