3d Skeletal animation assets question

Some of the 3d models on OGA do not come rigged while those that do ,however do not come with animations. the question is are animation skeletons(rigs) and appropriate animations subject to the asset requirement... I can get a 3d model rigged  but the rig and associated animations come from Mixamo I do not know the full extent of the license for the   animation assets there also many ue4 users have access to many animations that can be re-targeted to any skeleton. While the meshes form both locations would not qualify i was wondering if the animations or the rigs did... As i am not an animator. I can however rig a character to be ready to receive animation assets. but animations are rather on OGA.

I hate to say it, but yes, I would ask that any rigs or animations that were used for models in an entry to this jam be made available on OGA by the Oct. 31 deadline.  I'm sorry if this makes a particular OGA model hard to use or indeed even make your entire project in-admissible to the jam.  I'm not familiar with the licensing terms of the sources you mention, but if they don't allow you to re-distribute the assets under one of the OGA supported licenses, you'll have to find an alternative of some sort to use instead.   I know that might make it difficult to use many of the 3D assets on OGA, but it only seems fair for the 'All-OGA' game jam.

Thank you for the clarification. I have planed on an alternate route if it turned out that I had to make my own, or make use of OGA animations. But clarification was needed thank you again.

Thanks for being understanding about this.
