A surprisingly creepy entry, the cutscenes I think were well done with the FAITH-like retro voices. The switching cameras was neat and the atmosphere definitely felt off-putting. Though tbh I think the VHS effect may have been slightly overdone.

The entity itself was pretty creepy too with the blankly staring eyes at the camera and the voiceline. I was taken offguard after I saw it on the camera, then immediately exited the camera and turned to see it right outside the window. The fact it was followed by the sound of broken glass was a real "oh SHIT" moment.

Though unfortunately like the other commenter mentioned I didn't really have much of an idea of what I was uspposed to do throughout the game. It took me about 10 seconds to figure out how to progress the cutscene at the very beginning, I got the TV warning fairly quickly by chance, the cameras hint text was useful, but after that I didn't know what to do. I didn't see any way to interact with the windows or doors, and there wasn't any hint of the monster entering the house until after I was already dead. The game page mentions I can interact with windows and doors but pressing E while looking at them didn't seem to do anything.

This is a great setup for a horror game, it just needs some clarification on what the player needs to do. And I say that recognizing my own entry also doesn't do a great job explaining what to do lol. Good work!

Appreciate the feedback, like I've just mention bellow there will be an update at some point in the future to rectify some of the issues that you pointed out (and expand on the overall feel of the game). Thank you for playing it!! (as rough as it is for now lmao)

Thanks for playing! admittedly we did start the project a little late into the jam so the submitted project wasn't entirely finished however there should be a patch in the upcoming weeks to fix issues like visual bugs and player guidance.
