This game was pretty good, short and sweet, and lacking some background music. The graphics could use a little work, but overall pretty good!

A short game with nice graphics but I think it has some issues holding it back.

The most obvious one that another comment touched on is the UI or viewport appears to be scaled incorrectly, so UI elements are cut off. And there's no full screen option for the game so I had to change my browser window to 150% zoom. If I didn't do that I wouldn't have seen the pause/play button in the top right to show/hide the "How To Play" page.

I think just generally the movement speed of the player and enemies combined with how zoomed in the screen is mademoving around a bit too treacherous. For me it felt like there was either nothing around or there was suddenly a zombie and I'm dead. Though I think it was nice there was a sound cue when zombies started chasing the player, and that zombies would stop chasing after a couple seconds or moving far enough away.

Beyond that it looks like this was the first game for both of you who submitted, so congrats on releasing and submitting! I think with a couple of the UI/UX issues fixed this could be a fairly solid first game, it has a menu, a little tutorial page, and both a win and lose state.

Nice work!

it has promise... but there was no back button out of the "how to play" page, no hitboxes on the building, i just ran over it, and hitboxes for other things as well as movement speed were all jank and wonky. however it is a running game which is a win in its own right so.

Not even my game, but this is the most real review if seen
