I like the visuals and the theme fit are really great. Unfortunatly I couldn't get anything to work. It was really hard to find the target zone to have things activate in. I was able to pick up the train, and the elf had a sign of a green train. So I went to what I found out was the paint station, cycled to gree, hit the E key and a progress bar came up. then I got the train back, except it wasn't green. Nothing I did could leave the train at the sleigh after that and then my time ran out I think and I was at game over. Visuals were nice but target activation zones and the confusing what I am supposed to do hurt this.
Nice game overall! Took me a good few tries before I figured out how you are supposed to play. But other than the gameplay, and the misplacement of controls UI, the game is cool. The visuals are great, and the audio is nice and calm, fits the setting.
For some reason, I'm unable to put the train or the train tracks into the workstation, so I can never build the first train toy.
Ohhh okay. I think I understand your problem. The leftmost workstation (the crafting bench) requires you to set the correct crafting recipe before allowing you to place items on it. In other words, you must approach, press Q once, or until you see a train icon on the leftmost square of the crafting bench UI. Only then will the crafting bench accept train-specific crafting items. Once all three item slots are full, you can craft with E. I apologize that this wasn't explained better before. Thank you for your feedback.
