Really excellent idea! Love the art and polish overall. Reminds me of a game I played where you were a border guard checking papers. Really great job! Would be nice to see an expanded version of this with some curveballs thrown in to up the difficulty and or something to give you consequences when you errored.

Nice music! I think the elf animation needs a little work. Was a super cute game. It would have been nice to throw the gift/box away in the same room when you realized you didn't make it right instead of having to bring it back to the table in the center room. Nice menus, descriptions of gameplay, title screen as well.

Really great visuals and a perfect tie into the theme. I love the polish with the menu, audio settings, etc. Camera controls seemed good. I did find on occasion the package would get dropped from hitting something. So not sure what that was about or if that was intended behavior.

Unfortunately couldn't play as the program was missing a file.

Wow really hard. The idea is fun and I was very thankful for the direction screen. Maybe a scaling difficulty might be better like the elf starts with a larger area of light to start then slowly that circle gets smaller.

I like the visuals and the theme fit are really great. Unfortunatly I couldn't get anything to work. It was really hard to find the target zone to have things activate in. I was able to pick up the train, and the elf had a sign of a green train. So I went to what I found out was the paint station, cycled to gree, hit the E key and a progress bar came up. then I got the train back, except it wasn't green. Nothing I did could leave the train at the sleigh after that and then my time ran out I think and I was at game over. Visuals were nice but target activation zones and the confusing what I am supposed to do hurt this.

First the things I liked. I like the truck model and the dust that gets kicked up behind the truck. The yellow targets were good as well. The houses looked good but you hardly saw them if you stayed on the road due to the camera zoom/angle. Also I the game ended up breaking on my and eventually spawned about 6 vehicles. I suspect it has something to do with being off road and braking. I couldn't actually figure out what I was supposed to do until I accidently bumped my mouse and saw the canon on the truck move. So some directions would be good for the player. I think if you could rotate the camera when the car turned so the left and right always matched true left and right (of the screen) that would be best. That way the car always pointed up, and the turning would rotate the camera not the car. Then maybe zoom out a bit so we can see those cool houses. I think it has some good potential with a little more work.

I agree with another comment about needing an aiming reticle. That would help. Even with the packages sometimes they would pick up, sometimes i would have to move a bit to get them to pick up. One thing I think you are missing in a game like this is the urgency. There didn't really seem to be any need to hurry or to complete quickly. Just something to think about.

So without a controller this was hard for me to play. My son was able to play it well though. I really like the jack in the box telegraphing before they open. Thats a nice tough. Controls feel smooth (again the pickup key as e right with the wasd for movement was extremely difficult for me. Gameplay seemed smooth and the background music was fun as well. On point for the theme too!

I enjoyed this! I think the thing that would have made it better for me is if there was a change in gameplay or the difficulty scaled. That would have kept me engaged longer. Fun pixel art graphics though and nice music.

I'll try that!

Unfortunately I can't get this game to open on chrome. Browser hangs and then just times out the tab.

So unfortunately I wasn't able to get anywhere. Nothing I tried would allow me to pick up any materials to get to the next step. THe looking around with the mouse was very laggy/glitchy as well. I think the idea was good but just couldn't actually play it.

This was a lot of fun. I couldn't seem to get past the tall robot (i think) and the short one together. Loved the drones. I really liked the details on the house with the icicles and the christmas lights along the roof. Well done.

Oh I'll have to check it out again. How do I switch back to the candy cane?

This was fun to play. Good job on making all of the graphics. I like how he slowed down the more gifts he was carrying and would speed up after a ghost took one.

The ghosts don't seem to take a gift from the top though(they always took from the bottom making the stack look like it was floating). At the end of the game the circle blackout to the player was a nice touch, but there was no way to start the game again after that.

Like the visuals and easy gameplay. Music fit well also. I think it would have been better to make santas sleigh a different color instead of the blue of the background. That made it hard to realize that is what was there. It was fun to play!

So I kept running into the issue where santa would run away and not get the gifts or let you protect him. Seems like a glitch and not intended. Out of the handful of times I played only once did santa collect packages, but then after two he took off again. Neat idea and I enjoyed the music and the ending laugh audio.

Once I got to the santa I couldn't figure out what to do. I really liked the snowmen melting effect. The game was prety laggy playing it in html though. I think a part of that was the particle system used for blood from the elves in that second screen.

I really like the sprite of santa. A couple of little things I noticed. Santas sprite animation doesn't seem to match his speed, his animation needs to be faster. Also if you hit the jump button while already in the air it played the jump sound a second time but doesn't jump. The other thing I liked was the stretch effect applied when he jumped.

(1 edit)

Thanks for the feedback! I actually found and fixed that bug but forgot to upload it. I have some other improvements in mind also. For example one you get all four conveyors needing repairs the game will also end.

I really appreciate the feedback as this is the first time I ever really made something to share it.
