This is my very first Game Jam project. I started game developing half a year ago and love to learn new things. This project was in my mind a long time ago and I was highly inspired by Dragon Quest Games that I played as a little boy :)
I appreciate anyone who is willing to test my project and love to get some feedback. Don't expect too much of it.

For a first game jam project it's pretty good. There's movement, battling, levelling up, dialogue and overworld map. I definitely saw the inspiration when I saw the overworld map.

Rpg's are tricky because there's a lot of different systems and mechanics working together. There's many games which only focus on a few of these. I'd recommend you cut it down in scope, get all the basics completed. Then you can expand upon it later

From what I played, the only faults I could find was an odd collider on the rug inside your house and being able to go past the camera bounds in the overworld map. Keep it up :)

As you've said on the game page it's a prototype and a lot of stuff still is not implemented or does not work. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, it's just a bit hard to test as you have no idea what to do or where to go (and what works). But, I talked with a few people and had a few encounters, there are no bugs as far as I could see, it's a very good prototype, I just wish more stuff was in the game so I could say more about it.

All I can say is, so far it's good (the mechanics seem to work fine), keep working as I'd love to play it again once more content is inside. :)
