WIP Submissions with out the art?

I will be finishing my submission tomorrow. I will likely only be able to submit the plain text/printer friendly version without a lot of the art assets by that time. The game took longer to make than I thought. Is it acceptable to summit this then later release the more finished version? I am new to jams and am not sure about the etiquette and best practices here.

What I have so far and what the submission will likely look like with a bit better formatting.

Good question. I'm new to this too and will be submitting my entry without playtesting, which I hope is okay to do.

I enjoyed reading your game! Can't wait to see the completed version.

You're more than welcome to release an Ashcan version of your game and update it later! Games are still games without art.

I'll also say that if you want to pick up some art assets, Bri de Danann also has some generic fishblade art packs for use in the Jam (Or other games) https://ko-fi.com/s/44090c8d60. There's also a black and white pack.

I  may do a simplified  version then. I   have some assets I like  a lot, they are   actually a font  strangely enough
