I'm thinking of joining this jam to practice my art skills, and I like to do a mixed media style that involves watercolor. But the nature of watercolor (especially for someone like me who isn't yet a master of getting the watercolor to do what I want) means saturation/value consistency is difficult to maintain.
My question is, is it okay to use value-inconsistent traditional mediums like watercolor as long as it's still in the spirit of only using the hex values, like using only the closest colors on my palette even if they end up washed out/inconsistent on paper?
