The whole feeling at the beginning is mysterious and dark. It has a bit of secret of evermore vibes to me. This could be in a hot underground passage or level. Nice! :)

The name is perfectly chose for the vibe that the song gives-off, I feel like it has been said already, but the drum patterns are quite hypnotic and really contrast and anchor me in the eeriness of the pads. I feel oppressed and under pressure and danger, like I just started a lava level in a game.

An anguished, threatening atmosphere in each of the sounds and melodies. The imperturbable cyclical percussive side creates a hypnotic effect, and even if the whole thing remains very simple, until the end where the grave melody finally breaks free from its straitjacket before the rhythm fades out, the music remains effective and perfectly pays homage to the metroidvania genre.
